Join us for a Lunch & Learn: Intro to Providing Therapeutic Support for Front-Line Activists

πŸ“… Friday, April 24 | 12:00 PM | Zoom

Lolly Be and Dr. Rebecca Cohen of Stable Grounds Therapeutic Farm Sanctuary, Inc. are coming together to offer something we believe is genuinely needed right now.

This training is designed to give clinicians a real-world overview of the skills involved in supporting front-line activists and organizers β€” a population that is growing, that is carrying a lot, and that often doesn't receive care that truly meets them where they are.

Lolly brings a rare and powerful combination of perspectives to this work: NYU-trained MSW, former front-line activist and organizer, and Indigenous person. Her lived and clinical expertise will be woven throughout.

Participants will come away with:

  • A deeper understanding of the specific needs of front-line activists and organizers in today's climate

  • Grounded knowledge of the particular types of trauma this population experiences

  • Clear direction for providing effective, meaningful care

For those who want to go further, Lolly and Dr. Cohen will be offering two additional training sessions in this series in the coming months.

Pricing is sliding scale β€” because access matters, and because supporting the providers who are doing this work matters too.
